Play’n GO approved to launch slot portfolio in Portugal

Swedish casino games developer Play’n GO has been approved to launch its games in Portugal’s regulated iGaming market.

Following successful moves into Sweden and the Philippines earlier this year, the certification from regulator Serviços de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos (SRIJ) allows the supplier to provide its content to licensed operators in the market.

PokerStars Casino will be the first to launch Play’n GO’s portfolio of games, including popular titles Rise of Olympus, Sweet Alchemy and Legacy of Egypt.

“We want as many people as possible to enjoy our games, and we also want our clients, both current and future, to be able to rely on us to have a presence wherever they seek to develop their operations,” said Play’n GO chief executive Johan Törnqvist.

“We are excited by this move into a new market, and we look forward to exploring more new ground in the future.”
